tailgate retaining clips
clips worked fine, but tongs on them had to be pre bent slightly in order to get them to fit, otherwise we could not push them on.

No where as good as original
Too thin . Had to crimp lift track to get a better grip on glass . Original was a formed rubber Chanel . Would not be surprised if this slips off.

Fix back window

regulator/window retaining clips
Getting these off and then replacing them is 1/2 the job of rebuilding the tailgate mechanisms. I recommend that you position the regulator arms at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock (the 6 regulator bolts are available then and drill a hole down thru the inner tailgate panel above the clip so you can 1- see it and 2- apply leverage downwards to get the spring arms on the clip around the regulator stud. Trying to do it sideways thru the space between the inner and outer tailgate panels is a losing proposition. You should also build a block about 3" high and position it under the regulator arm/stud so the window channel and regulator arm are compressed and the clip tines can be pushed into the channel on the stud. Just cover the holes you drilled with duct tape- the carpeted panel on the inner tailgate will cover them.

Tailgate windshield clips
These were exactly what I needed to clip the rear window slide studs in place. They are a pain to get in, keep at it you've got to hold your mouth right.

tailgate glass retainer clips
Just like OEM!

Good Clips
The clips have a good tight fit. They held the regulator in the window channel like original equipment would.
