This Rear Tailgate Glass Switch Kit Will Work On All Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees, And The Cherokee Chief From 1974-1991.
This Rear Tailgate Glass Switch Kit Comes Complete With A Direct Fit Power Window Switch, The 2-Tailgate Glass Retainer Clips & Instructions For Easy Installation.
Please Note: This kit does NOT come with the housing, you must reuse your original.
Once You Have Removed The Tailgate Glass Switch Assembly & It Is In Your Hands, It Will Only Take A Few Minutes To Pop The New Switch In.

When replacing this switch we recommend checking the following parts in your Tailgate:
Tailgate Window Wipes Inner & Outer (These tend to become dry & brittle, allowing water & debris to get into your tailgate and destroy other parts)
Tailgate Inner Side Channels (These are on the inside your tailgate on either side and help the glass slide up & down easily.)
Tailgate Lifter Bar (This is attached to the regulator & what the glass rests in.)
Tailgate Lifter Bar Cushion (This is between the lifter bar and the glass.)

Tailgate glass window switch GW
This is just the switch, not the metal part in the picture, you get the plastic black small switch, which fixed my rear key operation and now the dash switch raises and lowers the rear tailgate glass too, which also did not work before installing this switch. Much needed part to fix your rear tailgate window on GW. Lots of work but well worth it, Thanks Team GW for this product!

Excellent switch
This switch is great, The picture on the site is a little misleading as you only get the switch. I was anticipating the entire assembly. Either way, I installed the switch in my old assembly and now I have a working rear window.

just the correct switch to replace the original.
The switch is correct to replace the original switch, be careful to tighten up the connectors on the wires, and reuse the plastic locking cover, it helps hold the wires in place. Just a note the retaining clips needed for the window bar are included in with the switch so didn't have to order the clips as an extra which I did. Just a quick note the metal bracket is not included so don't throw the old one away, this is not clear in the order description.
