This Rear Tailgate Glass Switch Kit Will Work On All Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees, And The Cherokee Chief From 1974-1991.
This Rear Tailgate Glass Switch Kit Comes Complete With A Direct Fit Power Window Switch, The 2-Tailgate Glass Retainer Clips & Instructions For Easy Installation.
Please Note: This kit does NOT come with the housing, you must reuse your original.
Once You Have Removed The Tailgate Glass Switch Assembly & It Is In Your Hands, It Will Only Take A Few Minutes To Pop The New Switch In.

When replacing this switch we recommend checking the following parts in your Tailgate:
Tailgate Window Wipes Inner & Outer (These tend to become dry & brittle, allowing water & debris to get into your tailgate and destroy other parts)
Tailgate Inner Side Channels (These are on the inside your tailgate on either side and help the glass slide up & down easily.)
Tailgate Lifter Bar (This is attached to the regulator & what the glass rests in.)
Tailgate Lifter Bar Cushion (This is between the lifter bar and the glass.)
