Product Description
This Is A Premium Made Window Gear Flex Rack.
This Is The Plastic Flex Window Gear Or Otherwise Known As The Flex Track That Helps The Window Go Up Or Down By Attaching To The Gear Of The Window Motor Of Each Door & Then Lifting Up The Window Channel To Raise The Window Up & Down.
In Most Cases When The Window Motor Stops Working And You Can Hear The Window Motor Running The Flex Rack Is Most Likely To Be The Problem.
These Direct Fit Plastic Flex Rack Gears Are Correct & Will Fit All Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees, Cherokee Chiefs, J10/J20 Pick Up Trucks From 1983-1991.
They Will Also Work On Certain Late 1982 Model Jeeps Which In Those Cases Most Be Inspected Before Purchasing To Make Sure Your Jeep Is Equipped With A Flex Rack Instead Of A Cable.
ALSO, Please Choose The Correct Flex Rack As The Driver Side Versus The Passenger Sides Are Different However The Driver Front Matches The Drivers Rear As The Passenger Front Matches The Passenger Rear Flex Rack.
This Flex Rack Comes With The Pivot Bolt Already Installed And Does Not Require The Plastic Retainer Holder Unlike The Original Ones Where They All Came Separated.
Because Our Flex Rack Are All Inclusive They Save You Almost As Much As The Price Of The Flex Rack Alone If You Are Missing The Bolt On Your Jeep.
The Rack Comes Ready To Install.
We Also Highly Recommend You Purchase The SIL-GLYDE When Purchasing As It Will Preserve The Plastic Window Motor Gear And New Flex Rack Much Longer From Harsh Weather Conditions Whether It Be From Dry Heat Causing It To Crack Prematurely Or Extreme Cold Winters Which Can Make Them Brittle & Crack When Very Cold If Not Properly Lubricated With This Very Specific Sil-Glide Grease Making The New Flex Rack Stay Flexible As In The Name Flex Rack To Perform Smoothly Going Up & Down When Using Your Window.

flex rack gear
better than what was replaced,
-
It did it's job.
Overall good product and the instructions that TGW are helpful. It was nice to have them as well as my Haynes manual. Key Points - Make sure you have the grease when installing. - Note that this model does NOT use the same T15 Torx bolt to attached to the window support. The instructions from TGW have not been updated. This unit slides on and twists into place rather than screwing in. - You might have to grind the edges of the the rail that the Flex Gear slides onto, just to smooth out the edges so they don't catch on each and every gear. Overall good product.

perfect fit
Rear passenger window was acting up, wouldn’t go down or stay up all the way. My initial inspection revealed the motor worked but the flex gear was broken. Removing the old one was easy, installing the new one was a bit difficult. Watched a video on YouTube that showed the best way to install it and I was on my way to a working window. I would recommend this product. 1988 Jeep GW.

Perfect Fit
The Flex track was the perfect fit for my door! Glad it came with instructions, but they are a bit confusing initially. You can install this without disconnecting the regulator, and window from the lifter bar.

great product with one issue
These flex tracks are awesome. Yeah, it's a PITA to replace these, but the instructions that come with the track are easy to follow and i suggest using the extra lube for the track. The *ONLY* issue I had was on the driver's side rear track. I had to order 2 driver's side rear because I made a mistake and broke one. But, in both cases at the end of the track, again only the drivers rear side, had an extra bit of plastic that prevented it from going onto the metal track. A quick bit of cutting with a dremel and it went great from there. Great product.
