This Is The Tailgate Lock Cylinder Base Gasket.

The Gasket Will Fit On Both Electric Tailgate Windows & Manual Style Tailgate Windows On Your Full Size Jeep.

If Replacing Or Removing The Lock Cylinder For Any Reason, We Recommend Replacing This Gasket At The Same Time.

This Gasket Tends To Dry Out Over Time Which Then Makes For Poor Sealing & Allowing Excess Water To Get Into This Area Of Your Tailgate Lock.

When Painting Your Jeep This Also Is A Great Time To Install A New Gasket.
