This Is A Pair Of Rear Tailgate Hinge Cover Metal Plates.
These Team Grand Wagoneer Exclusive Hinge Cover Plates Are Made Here In The U.S.A.
Each Plate Comes With Stainless Steel Mounting Hardware Screws And Comes With A Soft Rubber Gasket Seal Already Attached On Each Plate.
We Have Already Drilled The 4 Mounting Holes Needed To Install These Hinge Covers.
These Steel Cover Plates Are The Same Gauge Metal That Came On Your Jeep And Have Been Powder Coated In Black So That You Do Not Have To Paint These Plates If You Choose Not To.
When Removing The Old Plates You May End Up Having To Pry Or Bend The Old Plates.
In Most Cases The Plates If Rusty Will Become Damaged If Need To Remove Them For Any Reason Or The Rust Has Already Eaten Through These Plates.
That Is Why We Had These Plates Made.
Included In With Our Hinge Cover Plates Will Be A Soft Rubber Gasket Already Attached On The Underside Of Each Plate And We Will Include All 8-Mounting Screws In Stainless Steel To Prevent Future Rust.
The Gasket Seal From Underneath Prevents Moisture From Leaking Through Like The Original Plates Had.
Once You Install Them You Will Need To Reinstall The Rear Carpet Sill Plate With The Original Self Tapping Screws Or Purchase The Screws Part#J4001776 At The Same Time You Purchase This Kit.
