This OE Style Yellow Coolant Temperature Over Ride Or Commonly Known As The Yellow "CTO" Switch Is Exactly Correct & Made To Fit All Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees, Cherokee Chief, Jeep J10 Pick Up Trucks, J20 Pick Up Trucks From 1978-1991 With The V8-360,401 ,& 4.2 Liter Engines.
This Coolant Temperature Over Ride Switch Is Essential To Engine Performance As Are The Other Switches Because Over Time They Tend To Leak Vacuum Causing Poor Fuel Economy Or Performance.
If Your CTO Spark Switch Has A Crack In Any Of The 3 Ports That Are On The Switch, You Will Have A Bad Vacuum Leak Causing A Very Rough Idle.
This Switch Can Become Brittle Over Time & Crack, Or If It Becomes Corroded, Will Not Function Properly.
This Spark CTO Switch Helps With Vacuum To The Distributor Vacuum Advance & Works With The Temperature Of Your Engine.
If Your Vacuum Advance Does Not Seem To Operate Properly, This May Be The Cause.
