This Direct Fit Starter Solenoid Will Fit All 1978-1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers , Full Size Cherokess, Cherokee Chief, Jeep J10 Pick Up Trucks, J20 Pick Up Trucks With Both The 4.2 Liter & 5.9 Liter Engine With Automatic Transmission.
This Starter Solenoid Mounts On The Inner Passenger Fender.
This Is Common For A Cranking No Start Or A Clicking No Starting When This Part Goes Bad.
This Solenoid Only Takes About 15-30 Minutes To Replace With Minimal Tools & Does Not Require A Mechanic.
It Should Be Check Twice A Year For Corrosion & To Make Sure All Connections Are Tight.

A Good replacement starter solenoid
This is not an exact replica to the original, but its a good replacement. Just make sure the "I" is on the passenger side and the "S" is to the front of your FSJ. 3-5min to swap it out, don't forget to disconnect your battery first.
