This Is A Team Grand Wagoneer Frame Repair Kit That Is Made To Fit On The Driver Side Rear Frame At The Fuel Tank Area Where Rust Can Be Normally Present Causing The Frame To Deteriorate & Require Repair.
This Frame Repair Kit Will Fit All Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees, & Cherokee Chiefs From 1970-1991.
This Frame Repair Kit Is Made Here In The U.S.A.
What Happens Is The Fuel Tank Skid Plate That Holds The Fuel Tank Itself May Become Dirty With Debris Such As Leaves Or Mud Trapped Between The Rubber Mat & Skid Plate Causing A Blockage To The Drain Hole & Not Allowing Anything To Get Out Which May Be Trapped Inside.
This Then Commonly Causes Especially In The Salt Belt Area To Rust Not Only The Skid Plate, But The Main Trainable Support Bracket That Holds The Tank & Skid Plate Up & The Fuel Tank Straps Themselves Until Finally The Rust Becomes So Bad, It Starts Eating Away At The Main Frame Of Your Jeep Itself Literally To The Point Where It Is Very Unsafe.
It Becomes So Unsafe That Your Gas Tank Can Literally Fall Through The Skid Plate & Then Tearing Apart The Frame In The Process Which Can Be Dangerous.

All You Need To Do Is Once You Have Removed The Fuel Tank & Skid Plate Assembly, Take Our Frame Piece & Mark Where You Want To Put It On The Frame Area That Is Affected, Slide It Over & Move As Needed For A Dry Fit, Then Mark With A Yellow Crayon Or Grease Pencil & Cut Away All The Rust Before Installing.

Good kit
Didn't need all the pieces, but got it welded in. You really need to remove the rear leaf spring to do it right, but was able to work around it.

Drivers Side Frame Repair Kit 70-91
Would like to have seen 2 or 3 inches more added to the front of the piece that mounts furthest forward but other than that a solid kit. Mine came with no instructions but not that difficult to figure it out.
