This Is A Direct Replacement Differential Cover Seal Specifically For An AMC 20 Rear Differential That Fits All Earlier Model Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees Including The Cherokee Chiefs,J10/J20 Pick-Up Trucks From 1980-1986 With The Large AMC 20 Rear Axle.
If You Are Not Sure Which Rear Differential Your Jeep Has-Just Look At The Seal.
This Seal Is Determined With A Round Circle Rear Axle Cover.
If Your Rear Axle Cover Is Leaking Differential Fluid-It Is Highly Recommended To Replace This Very Inexpensive & Easy To Change Seal.
You May Need Some Gear Oil RTV Gasket Maker For Easier Installation Of Gasket And A Good Over Seal.

YOUR DIFFERENTIAL FLUID SHOULD BE CHANGED NO LONGER THAN EVERY 3-YEARS OR MORE THAN 45,000 MILES.
During This Mileage The Gear Lube Becomes Heated Up And Worn Unless You Have Full Synthetic Fluid And Through Time If Not Driven Often Water And Moisture Accumulate And Can Damage Bearings When Driven.
