This Is A Direct Replacement PCV Valve Grommet.
If Replacing The PCV Valve For Any Reason We Highly Recommend Installing This New Rubber Grommet At The Same Time.
Jeep Would Only Sell The PCV Valve With The Grommet When It Was Available But For A Very High Price.
Over Time This Rubber Grommet Becomes Very Brittle & Hard Causing It To Shrink & Allow Vacuum To Leak And Your Engine To Run A Little Rough.
Any Small Vacuum Leak Will Cause Poor Performance, Less Power And Worse Fuel Mileage.
We Recommend Installing A New PCV Valve & Grommet At Least Every 30,000 Miles Or Sooner If Needed To Ensure The Best Performance.
