re wired
These look great and are a great replacement. However I had to re work them a bit to meet my approval. The white ground wire for each light socket Is just kinda friction fitted and not really attached very securely . I found this out because I had to cut both black wires and re splice them to their counterpart make them work properly. When the parking lights are turned on the brighter element for the signal light up. if I put the signal on while the parking lights were engaged you couldn't even tell that the signal element was flashing because the less bright parking element was flashing instead. As I was changing the black wire connections the white ground wire came disconnected from the bulb housing so I ended up just soldering the white ground wire to the housing to make a permanent positive connection. I have read another review that stated the same wiring problem that I had and wonder if they are all this way and if many people failed to realize their turn signals wont be noticed by other drivers especially when their parking lights are also on at night.
