This Is A Direct OE Style Rubber Sealing Washer For The Front And Or The Rear Transfer Case Yoke On All NP208-N P219-NP228-NP229 Transfer Cases On Your Jeep From 1980-1991.
Each Transfer Case Has A Front & Rear Output Shaft And This Little Rubber Washer Tends To Fry Out Time.
A Damaged Seal Can Cause A Leak Coming From The Center Of Your Front Or Rear Transfer Case Yoke.
This Seal Has Splines To Fit Your Yoke Perfectly Making A Tight Seal Preventing Fluid From Leaking.
Many Shops Try To Use RTV But That Does Not Always Work And This Seal Works Much Better As Designed For Your Jeep.
Anytime You Need To Remove, Replace Or Reinstall A Transfer Case Yoke This Seal Should ALWAYS Be Replaced.
Very Inexpensive This Yoke Seal Is Still Important And Many Times Overlooked.
