We Are Providing All 8 Mounting Screws For Both Of The Inside Hood Support Rods Which Require 4 Mounting Screws Each.
The Mounting Screws In This Set Are Made Of Stainless Steel To Prevent Any Rust Through The Years And Have A Locking Style Flange Head That Ensures A Tight & Snug Fit.
The Hood Support Rods Help Prevent The Heavy Hood On Your Jeep From Bending When Your Hood Hinges & Springs Are Not Properly Lubricated Or Are Very Stiff.
They Help Prevent The Hood From Swaying To One Side That Would Cause A Crease In The Hood When Closing.
If These Bolts Become Loose For Any Reason, It May Contribute To Causing This Problem.
With Our New Bolts, The Rods Should Stay Snug For A Lifetime Once Mounted Correctly.
These Bolts Should Not Be Used Again Especially If The Serrated Edge On The Flange Head Of The Bolts Are Worn Down.
On All Of The Hoods We Inspected Here At Team Grand Wagoneer, We Notice That All The Old Bolts Had Worn Down Serrated Edges Making A Smooth Surface Unlike Our Brand New Bolts That Were Grip;ping Tight When Installing.
If Your Hood Rod Support Bolts Are Loose For Any Reason, Or If You Are Installing A New Hood Insulation & You Are Removing These Rods, Now Would Be The Time To Install These Bolts.
