Since The Dimmer Switch Is Mounted On The Driver Floor The Connection Between The Switch & Where It Plugs Into Can Easily Become Corroded Over Many Years Causing The Switch Not To Work Or Damage The Switch Itself.
When The High Beams On Your Jeep Are Not Working You Should Visually Inspect The Dimmer Switch Plug Connector Prongs To See If The Are Corroded, Rusted Out Or Damage.
If They Are Corroded Or Rusted Chances Are That The Pig Tail Connector Is Corroded Or Rusted Out As Well.
The Location Of The Switch & Plug Gets Wet When It Snows Or Rains And The Driver Enters The Jeep.
If Water & Or Moisture Builds Up Since The Jeep Can Be Over 30 Years Old It Is Not Uncommon.
