This CTO Switch Would Normally Be Red In Color If It Were Original But We Now Have The Correct Replacement That Comes In A Green Color Now For Your Full Size Jeep Or Truck & Is Located & Installs In The Hole Of The Thermostat Housing Right Up In Front Of The Center Of The Engine Next To The Distributor.
Our Heavy Duty HDC-CTO Thermostat Housing Switch Works Off The Temperature Of The Coolant Running Through Your Thermostat & Regulates What It Needs To Do From Your Engine Temperature At All Times.
This HDC-CTO Switch Also Hooks Into The Distributor Vacuum Harness & Linear Temperature Switch As Well As One Of The Carburetor Vacuum Lines As The 3-Ports It Has On This Switch.
This HDC-CTO Switch Will Fit All Jeep Grand Wagoneers & Full Size Wagoneers & Cherokees & Cherokee Chiefs & Jeep J10 & J20 Pick-Up Trucks From 1974-1991 With The V8-360/401.
This Switch Is Located On The Intake Manifold Of Your 258 4.2 Liter Engine.
These Have Long Been Discontinued From Jeep But We Found The Original Manufacturer Which Now Makes This Part In A Different Color Instead Of The Original Red Color But Works & Fits Exactly The Same.
When This Part Goes Bad & Leaks Vacuum-You Will Get A Rough Idle & Then Start Getting Poor Engine Performance & Mileage Causing The Engine To Possible Even Hesitate & Wear The Spark Plugs.
