The Grille Support Will Fit Your Full Size Jeep & Truck From 1979-1991.
We Had This Grille Support Specially Designed To Be Stronger Than The Original One By Using A Slightly Thicker Gauge Steel.
On The Top Of The Grille Support Is A Removable Bar That Is On The Support Like The Original One Had Strictly There For Shipping Reasons Only.
The Bar On Top Helps Keep The Grille Support Stable During Shipping To Prevent Any Bending Of The Metal Which Is Another Reason We Made Ours More Robust.
It Also Has A Black Prime Etch Coating On The Outside Unlike The Original Ones From Jeep That Would Get Surface Rust Simply By Sitting On A Shelf Over Time Where As Our Grille Support Will Not Do That.

If You Are Doing A Proper Restoration On Your Classic Grand Wagoneer Or Full Size Jeep & Truck Or Repairing Some Front End Work And Didn't Know How Good The Repair To Your Grille Support Would Come Out, Now Is The Chance To Install A New One.

Will This Grille Support Fit Earlier Models? We Are Not Sure Yet. We Suspect That You Could Modify The Support To Fit A 1972-1978 Model To Work BUT If You Purchase One And Try To Modify It In Any Way Or Any Reason, We Will Not Credit You Or Take It Back.
Once You Cut Or Modify It Will Be Yours. On That Note However We Feel Any Good Body Man Should Be Able To Make It Work In Some Way Especially If Your Older Jeep Absolutely Needs A Grille Support.

Better than OEM
My original panel was rusty and bent in several spots. This was a perfect replacement, easy to weld on to other panels. It seemed thicker than the OEM panel. It has all mounting tabs for the grille. It was shipped well in safe packaging. Definitely recommend if you need to replace this panel.
