Your Canister Filter Is Located On The Passenger Side Of The Engine Underneath The Emission Evaporative Charcoal Canister.
The Job Of The Charcoal Canister Is To Collect All Fuel Vapors From Your Gas Tank & Trap Them Inside The Charcoal Of The Evaporative Cannister.
Sometimes When You Overfill The Gas Tank, Gasoline Literally Escapes The Gas Tank & Goes Up To The Canister & Once It Is Overfilled, The Excess Gasoline Of Fumes Is Trapped At This Filter As A Last Resort So That Fumes Do Not Enter Your Engine Compartment Or Cabin While Preventing High Hydro Carbons Keeping Your Emissions In Line To Pass Any State Testing.

Simple item but it works
While they don't provide instructions on how to replace it, it as easy, just pull the old one out and push this one in at the bottom of the canister, no need to open the canister. It cleaner than the old one so that good and it fit perfect.
