These Are Air Injection Manifold Emission One-Way Check Valves.
This Will Fit All Jeep Grand Wagoneers, Full Size Wagoneers, Full Size Cherokees, Cherokee Chief, J10/J20 Pick Up Trucks With The V8-360 Engine From 1974-1991 & The 4.2 Liter Engine From 1981-1986.
Your V8 Engine Is Equipped With 3 Of These Engine Exhaust Manifold Check Valves While Your 4.2 Liter Engine Only Has One Of These Check Valves.
Our Check Valves Are Made Here In The U.S.A.
One Check Valve By Each Air Injection Manifold Pipe & One By The Catalytic Converter Tube Pipe. You Can Order Each Check Valve As Needed.
These Emission Check Valves Will Tend To Rust Completely Out Over Time Either Causing Loud Noises & Throwing Out High Emissions If You Are Lucky-Or Worse Yet-It Stops Doing What It Is Originally Designed To Do & Allow The Warm Air From The Catalytic Converter To Come Back The Other Way Instead Of Keeping The Cool Air Going One-Way-Thus The Name & Causing Some Expensive Damage By Melting All Of The Air Injection Manifold Hoses & Divertor Valve Which Is Quite Common If Not Replaced When Rusted & Worse Can Even Start An Engine Fire.
The Check Valves Especially By The Cat Converter Should Not Be Taken Lightly When They Go Bad.
