We Have An Accelerator Pedal Spring Kit That Should Be Purchased Anytime You Are Installing A Brand New Accelerator Gas Pedal Inside Your Jeep.
This Accelerator Pedal Spring Kit Comes With Stainless Steel Locking Pin, Stainless Steel Washer & Stainless Steel Cotter Pin To Securely Keep The Pin Installed.
For Years These Parts Have Never Been Available Through Jeep But We Noticed That When Changing A Gas Pedal Pad That The Pin Holding The Pedal Is Always Corroded & Rusty And That We Had To Clean The Pin On A Wire Wheel To Remove All The Corrosion & Dirt.
With Our Stainless Steel Pin, This Should Not Happen Anymore. That Is Why We Are Selling All The Pieces Except The Spring Itself In Stainless Steel.
This Repair Should Take Between 15-30 Minutes Depending On The Jeep.
This Accelerator Spring Kit Does Not Include The Pedal Itself Part# 53003932 But We Highly Recommend Changing The Pedal At The Same Time.
