This Is A Set Of Upgraded Stainless Steel Screws That Attach The Lower Evaporator Housing To The Upper Housing Inside Your 1986-1991 Grand Wagoneer & 1986-1988 J Truck.
We Upgraded These Screws To Stainless Steel Because We Found That Almost Every Vehicle We Inspected Here In This Area Had Some Type Of Corrosion And Even Rust In Some Cases.
These Screws Come In A 304 Stainless Steel And We Are Using The Correct Style Head Which Is Slightly Larger To Prevent Cracking Of The Possible Brittle Plastic When Reinstalling.
The Head Also Is Smooth On The Bottom As A Serrated Style Head Can Scratch Or Crack The Plastic Housing When Tightening.
You Should Always Be Careful When Installing These Screws Because If You Use A Screwdriver Or Drill Gun Of Any Sort You Can Easily Crack The Plastic Housing.
We Recommend Installing These Particular Screws With A Nut Driver Or Slotted Screw Driver.
This Is A Complete Set Of 6 Screws Needed To Reinstall Your Lower AC Evaporator Housing.
